Entertainment Embassy was established in 2007 by Ravi Chand.
Ravi began working alongside underage event promoters as far back as 1993. His tenacity and passion in the industry never let up, pursuing every aspect over the years to the present day.
He’s been a booking agent for DJs, bands and dancers, and booked the entertainment for the Olympic Village Nightclub during Sydney 2000 Olympics. Ravi worked for Deakin & Monash Universities, as their Entertainment, Events and Sponsorship Manager producing some of the largest tertiary student events in the country (watch the video below to see some of them in action).
He built Australia’s largest tertiary DJ initiative (Future DJ). Future DJ within 3 years offered one of the largest DJ competition prize pools in the world ($30,000+), with the world’s most influential names behind it including – DJ Mag (UK), Turnmills (UK), Finger Lickin (UK), Slinky (UK), Fuzzy, Future Entertainment, and British Council Australia. Future DJ had a promotional reach to over 1 million uni and TAFE students with over 50 different campuses around Australia involved.
As Chairmanager for Relay For Life at Monash Uni, he lead the committee that raised $370,000+ for the Cancer Council.
Entertainment Embassy for 5 years has been the key driving force behind the branding success of one of Melbourne’s most successful underground nightclubs Wah Wah Lounge.
